Who we are
CVM Construction Corp. (“CVM,” “we,” “us”) is a general contractor based in Woodside, Queens, New York. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website and through the text-message program we run for our own field staff and subcontractors.
Information we collect
- Website. Our website does not use contact forms, accounts or tracking cookies. If you email or call us, we keep the contact information you give us so we can respond.
- Text-message program. Supervisors, project managers, crew and subcontractor field staff who work on CVM projects give us their mobile number and consent to receive work-related text messages (daily reporting reminders, check-ins and follow-ups). We keep the number, the consent record and the messages exchanged.
How we use it
To run our projects: coordinating field work, collecting daily reports, keeping project records, and responding to inquiries. We do not sell personal information.
Text messaging and sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We use service providers (for example, our messaging carrier and cloud hosting) solely to deliver the services described here; they may process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Your choices
Text STOP to any CVM message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for assistance. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you or to have it removed, subject to project record-keeping requirements.
Retention and security
Project records, including field reports, are kept for as long as the contract and applicable law require. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold.
